The EAAFL was created in 2013 as a way to formalise and provide structure to the existing competitive international games played regularly between clubs in East Asia. In this it’s inaugural year, the league’s aims are modest as it tests the concept and refines the structure for a full blown competition to commence in 2014.

Enormous support has been received from all clubs across the region whether they are able to participate at this stage or not. In time the league hopes to expand to include all clubs in the region providing a stable competition of regular international matches.
